Trimlight New Braunfels stands behind the quality of our permanent lighting systems. Our lifetime warranty covers eligible parts and provides lifetime service coverage for manufacturer’s defects, subject to the terms and exclusions outlined below.
All Parts Backed by a Lifetime Warranty
Trimlight provides a lifetime product warranty on the LED lights, controller, and power supply for the manufacturer's estimated lifespan of each component. Lifetime warranty on LED lights, controller, and power supply (must register at trimlight.com).

Lifetime Service Warranty for Manufacturer’s Defects
Your Trimlight system includes a lifetime service warranty for manufacturer’s defects. This covers qualifying service and labor required to address defects in the manufacturer's products, subject to the exclusions listed below.
The lifetime service warranty applies to manufacturer’s defects and does not cover damage caused by external factors, homeowner actions, third-party contractors, or other excluded conditions.
Important: The warranty does not go into effect until the installation job has been paid in full.
What Is NOT Covered by the Lifetime Warranty?
The lifetime warranty does not cover the following:
- Lightning, weather-related damage, and power surges: Damage caused by lightning strikes, severe weather, electrical surges, or other external events.
- Rodent and critter damage: Damage to wiring, lights, or other system components caused by rodents or animals.
- Third-party or homeowner damage: Damage caused by other contractors, service providers, the homeowner, or anyone other than the authorized service provider.
- Connectivity and network issues: Problems involving the modem, mobile device, network interference, Wi-Fi, or wireless connectivity.
- Home and structural issues: Problems caused by rotten fascia or soffit, roof work, painting, or other structural issues with the home.
Repairs involving items or issues not covered by the warranty are subject to a $79 service fee per trip. Additional charges may apply if the repair requires extra time, labor, or materials.
Warranty Transfer
The lifetime warranty may be transferred one time to a new homeowner when the property is sold. The warranty remains subject to the original coverage terms, exclusions, and requirements.
